Journalist

Description:
The successful candidate will be required to write news stories based on their own research and on stories assigned by editors. A good knowledge of the workings of a newspaper or magazine is needed for this job as well as absolutely fluent English. This is not a job for beginners and those applying should have at least three years experience in journalism. The successful candidate will also have a good eye for design and will be required to make up newspaper pages using standard pager make-up software. To this end, a deep knowledge of Quark 4 and Quark 7 is required. You will also be required to write breaking news stories for our Internet site and load stories onto the site. A good knowledge of the Internet is needed to carry out this job successfully.
